Empowering Young Women From Mumbai To Reach The Skies

Sana Malik Shaikh, in collaboration with SMEC Trust (Bharat Cares) and IndiGoReach, is proud to support the “Giving Wings to Fly” initiative — an aviation career development programme designed to empower young women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue careers as professional commercial pilots.
The initiative provides guidance, career counselling, professional training pathways, mentorship, and access to financial support for pilot training, offering a structured route to a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with ATR Type Rating.
Through this collaboration, Sana Malik Shaikh is committed to encouraging young women from Anushakti Nagar and across Mumbai to dream bigger, aim higher, and access career opportunities that may otherwise seem out of reach.
